Kirk Eggleston blends his military experience and love for fantasy into mythical-realism writing. His love of storytelling started at an early age with his grandmother, who practiced “round robin” storytelling with her grandchildren. He later found Dragonlance, The Dark is Rising, and The Death Gate Cycle, drawing him further into the fantasy adventure genre.
During his twenty years in the United States Marine Corps, Kirk continued to build on his writing, weaving military and adventure into his stories.
Now as a retired veteran, he dedicates his time to family, hiking, and running a writing group. He has been published in three Dead Birds Publishing anthologies, and awaiting the release of the novel Rise of the Shadow Empire through Crystal Lake Publishing.
